When my youngest daughter, Rose (Roe), fell critically ill, our attention became wholly devoted to her care. She finally began to show signs of improvement and we were able to bring her home. Our hearts were overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for the precious gift of having her with us.

During this period of recovery, Roe expressed a desire to adopt a black kitten. Without hesitation, we welcomed a lovely Norwegian Forest kitten into our lives, naming her Phoebe. The immediate bond between Roe and Phoebe was a testament to the healing power of companionship and love, no matter the soul.

Soon after, the COVID pandemic delivered a severe blow to my interior design business, leading to its closure after thirteen years. In the midst of this disruption, I found relief in lighting candles. The soft flicker of the flames and the gentle aromas provided a sanctuary of calm and reflection, allowing me to gather my thoughts and find a sense of peace. The fragrant ambiance made me feel empowered, beautiful, and creatively inspired.

It was through this peaceful experience that I realized the profound impact of fragrance. It has the remarkable ability to transform moods and offer comfort, serving as a form of self-care and aromatherapy. I understood that there is no greater gift than the feeling of tranquility and well-being among life's challenges.

As I pondered my future, I knew my next venture had to be extraordinary—something that would bring joy to others and hold deep significance. Driven by my passion for giving, I envisioned a boutique of gifts and fragrances designed to evoke wellness and vitality. I meticulously curated a collection of scents and candles, each chosen for its ability to uplift and create pleasure, believing that fragrances have the power to transport people to a place of comfort.

Reflecting on the bonds that inspired me, I found a fitting name for my boutique. The story of Phoebe and Roe, the beautiful connection between a girl and her kitten, resonated deeply. It symbolizes the strength and beauty that emerges from even the most unexpected circumstances.

With that, I named my new business "Phoebe Roe," a tribute to the incredible gift of life and love that has blessed our family. The name embodies the power of unity and the comfort found in supporting one another, no matter the challenges.

Today, Phoebe Roe is more than just a business; it is an inspiration of hope, love, and the gracious power of meaningful connections. I want the power of gift-giving to express a beautiful meaning that not only brings enjoyment to the receiver but also fills the giver's heart with warmth and enjoyment in sharing.
